Fianlly I decided to sit down and open blogger to type something here. It has really been a long time. Almost a month has gone by and holidays are ending soon, so sad.

I enjoyed myself for the past 2 weeks. First was STAC retreat. I think it will really well done. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Although this time there were lesser activities compared to the last one, but I thought that the things we went through were more meaningful. I really enjoyed Laoren's session, although I slept for the second last one. Haha. Was tired from the whole day already. This retreat really helped me to think and know more about myself.

After the retreat, the next day was off to Malaysia. The trip up to Cameron Highlands (CH) was really dizzy. The number of turns and bends we got to go through before we really reach our destination was crazy. Luckily it was in the night and all of us were sleeping with our MP3 on. I like the weather at CH. It was really cooling. I did not perspire at all when I was there for the 2 days. Took a lot of photos but haven't got them yet. Most likely will be uploaded up to FB.

The next 2 days was at KL. This was a totally different climate. I perspire like crazy there. It was just normal Singapore weather. Had a lot of fun there too but never really take any photos. Spent most of our time shopping at "Chinatown" and the shops around there. The imitations sold there were crazily a lot and cheap. I didn't really get anything except for sunglasses and afew shirts. We also went to a indoor themepark. The trip back was quite long and boring. This time I sat alone and could not fall asleep. LOL.

Went for Christmas mass the next day right after we came back from Malaysia. Was tired but still manage to "pull through". Went to Jason's house after mass for a game a bridge. Went back to his house again in the evening for Chirstmas party. Didn't really party much, just sat in his room, talk and drink. I think it has really been some time since we sat down and talk like that. I really like the feeling. Selene and Jason were giving me some opinions on my driving lessons.

Saturday was a mini celebration at Selene's house. Got quite a lot of food and play some card games there. People were playing Monopoly Deal, bridge and poker. Watched a few movies too. Before we left, Uncle Sam played some random songs on the piano and we just sing along. I think this is what I call bonding. No planning needed, just people's participation and God will work wonders for us. Haha.

Sunday went for Mass. Lost part of my voice, I think due to my Malaysia trip and the eating of junk food. Practice lasted a bit longer than usual but I left early cause I went ot book for my BTT, scared the counter would have already close if I went later. In the end, there wasn't any queue there, just went in select a date and paid the money. Within 10 minutes, I was done with everything. Went to meet up with the choir people for a movie at Cathay, Alvin and the Chipmunks. Funny show but I think the first one was better. I was too tired, sleeping like for the first half of the show. After that we went down to Marina Square to play arcade. Thank you everyone for your wishes and presents. I really appreciate all of them.

Yesterday went for wedding mass in the morning. There wasn't many people due to it being a weekday and everyone has to work. And I realised after reaching there that it was Uncle Raymond's sister getting married. I didn't know it until I saw him in the church. Sang for mass and went for the reception after that. I think this is the "grand-est" reception I have been too after a wedding mass. There were like waiters serving and the tables and chairs were like as if it was in a hotel. Really cool. Food served were also top class. I enjoyed the sushi and soft shell crab there the most. Haha.

Finished 3 papers already. 3 down, 2 more to go and it will be holidays after that. WOOHOO!!

Monday before I went for Autocad, had FME presentation. I think everybody did well. My group manage to deliever what we wanted to share and did it quite well I would say. My first time giving a presentation to people I don't know. I tried my very best to put up a confident front when I speak and I sort of did it. Haha.

After that, went for Autocad test. Before we enter the room, we were like still asking the teacher how to draw this and that. Luckily all the difficult things like the blind drill hole and stuff didn't come out. But I think the orthographic projection killed most of us. So many slant surfaces and I don't even know how to start. 65% out of the whole paper for that 1 question. But surprising the second question was quite easy, did it in like 15 minutes. From what I see, passing is not a problem for this paper. It is only how high I will score.

Had E Math and Electronics papers today. Had so many careless mistakes for the 2 papers. Lost so many marks. And once again, passing will not be a problem but it is the grade that I will get. For E Math, I only did 1 revision paper in the morning and thats all. So I can only blame it on my complacency. Then for Electronics, I almost studied more than I have to. I didn't know we are only tested until chapter 4 and I wanted to study until chapter 7. LOL. Luckily Ivan told me. And also luckily I studied with Ivan just now. He taught me a lot of things I don't know and help me understand some of the concepts too.

Tomorrow will be my forth and second last paper, Mechanics. I think this one will be done quite badly. I will only be hoping for a pass, not expecting anything higher than that. I believe it takes two hands to clap and while I blame myself for not studying on my side, the lecturers sucks. Nothing has been taught properly, always assume that we will understand what he is talking about. Do all the questions on the board and ask us to copy but do not give any explaination for his working. Like as good as just giving us the answer sheet and let us go home read ourselves. I think thats all I can say about him. Bottomline, lecturers for Mechanics sucks.

Looking forward to the holidays in 3 days time. Got to just get through the next 2 papers then I will be on my way to enjoyment for 3 weeks. Haha. After that will be suffering again. But who cares, just enjoy first.

Going for some carolling this weekend. I think the person coordinating it isn't really "friendly". Asking for volunteers but when people signed up, got turned down. And those people who volunteered and got in, were told that they are choosen. I mean, come on, we volunteered and we did not beg you to let us join. You are in need of people and still being so choosey and cocky. I just cannot stand this type of people.

Term 1 of second semester has ended. And tomorrow will be the start of MST week already. My nose is really giving me problem. Having flu since don't know when. Nose cannot stop dripping. Looks like I got to bring tissue paper for test tommorow. LOL.

I don't like the paper tomorrow. First paper only kill us already, autocad. I'm not really confident drawing on the computer. Or rather, i don't really like drawing at all. Looking at all the practice paper, I can tell that I won't do very well. But no choice I guess, I will just have to try my best.

Before paper starts tomorrow, I still have presentation to do in the morning. I'm also not confident for this. I did the research on what I got to say just now, but still not sure of it. I think it is because i'm in an unfamiliar setting, talking to people I don't know at all (casue it is a GEMS class). I don't know anyone in the class at all, just me and myself.

Time is really passing quickly. So fast and the term has already ended. I think with another blink of and eye, I will have completed my year 1 already. Polytechnic life has been tough, but I just have to get use to it. Got another 2 years plus to go before I graduate.
