I think I will try to post the events which I can still remember. Haha. Louise has been bugging me to update my blog, and I think I should. Haha. Last post was like quite long ago?

I also don't know where I should start. Let's see, after my passing out of C/OFFR Course, I have already gone for like 2 Central Meetings. Thats like within 2 weeks lor. No choice, change of DC means the change of Central too. Haha. I won't be stating what is changed, cause it is confidential stuff.

I think I will post about Christmas now and abit of pre-Christmas things lah. Went to Marilyn's house for carolling on 22 Dec. I can safely say that we didn't sing up to standard. All the songs were like so badly done? But there is no need to like start commenting such things at her house right? I mean, there are times when you should know what ought to be done and what ought not to be done. It is telling the audience of a performance that we did very badly for them, we were all not on form. What for? Just let everything be, cannot meh? I believe I don't need to spell out who this person is.

We had quite a lot of fun at Marilyn's place. First time we went to sit outside in the backyard (or whatever you call that). We were all like quite high, laughing and playing. And there were quite a lot of underaged drinkers also ar. I'm already underage myself, so what do you think about the rest? Haha. I think Louise and Anthia drank like a lot lah, 4 bottles if i'm not wrong. Thats crazy can. The most I drank was only 1/2 bottle. But cause partially I don't take alcohol lah. I'm a good boy ok. :)

The next day, 23 Dec, went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for carolling also. Reached church and did quite a lot of warm-ups. But I feel it was quite stupid lah. We were like going through songs and when we cannot make it, it was taken off our songs-that-we-are-singing list. Like that might as well just don't sing anything, quite rubbish lah. If we cannot sing, just practice lor. Anyways, we reached there at about 11am but our item only starts at 11.30am. So we just did abit of sound test, test the micophones and stuff. Time passed quite fast lah, it was soon 11.30am. The singing at the atrium wasn't as good lah. I think cause it absorbs our sound. When Basses sing, the low trembling sound could not be heard. It is not that we lousy lor, it is because of the place. Haha.

We ended in 30 minutes time and went for lunch. Ended up in Delifrance. Quite difficult to order food lor, like for 10 people at one time? In the end, for convenient sake, we all ordered the set meals. "Doctor" was like chasing us lah, cause he got discount under staff price. But in the end, when we were paying, the cashier said that, set meal is already sortof discounted already, so no more further discount. Like what the hell lah, never say earlier. LOL. Talked a lot of crap while eating. I think I ate like almost 3 portions? Haha. Cause they don't like the food, so I just take and eat lor. Don't anyhow waste food mah. But I think I ate too much, cause when we went for second round of carolling at the wards, I couldn't really sing properly. Haha. But who cares, as long as we bring joy and laughter to the people there, it is ok already. Haha.

Went out with Marilyn to find her present for someone. We were like walking all over the place lah, cannot find means cannot find. At first, we were supposed to meet Brian, cause he went off with Laoren they all, don't know go where. But after all the calls and smses, we still couldn't find him. I think Daryl was quite fed-up with him lah. We were all also. So many people was like waiting for him and don't know where he go sia. We wasted don't know how much time waiting and looking for him can. Anyway, lets continue. We went first to United Square, Toys 'R' Us. Cannot find, walk the whole shopping mall, also cannot find. In the end, Marilyn called her friend and found out that Junction 8 sells it. So we train-ed all the way to J8 to find the present. After we reached there, she took another don't know how long to decide can. Our legs were all like breaking already. Went to the arcade, and Ignatius spend don't know like how much money on the stupid machine can. Waste money, don't know how to give me meh. Haha.

After that, Marilyn took off back home and the few of us, not wanting to go home cause practice was only 2 hours later, set off back to Hougang. Actually thought of coming to my house, but in the end, we went to louise house. Good also lah, at least got to see how her house is like. Haha. Quite big actually, also very windy. Slacked there until like 6.45pm then go and have dinner. Wanted to eat at the coffeeshop downstairs lah, but there wasn't any really stall that were open. So we went to 401 to eat. And Eunice created a new name for it, I could really remember what was it. Haha. After I remember then I post again. LOL. Dinner at 401 was quite ok, ate till 7.25pm then move to church.

I find that practice that night wasn't very fruitful lah, like didn't achieve much also. We did Jesu like 4-5 times? I was really sick and bored of the song can. Really damn lame. There was something that shocked us that night, but nevermind, I shan't reveal it, it is our secret. Haha.

The next day was Christmas!! Haha. Morning met up with Godma to take my present. It has been some time since I met her le, need to meet up with her more often. After that, I was slacking at my grandfater house for the whole day until late afternoon then went home. Prepared all my stuff for the advent service and stuff, then went to Hougang Mall to print the photos for Uncle Sam's present. I reached Jason's house about 7.25pm and started to do all the stuff lah. Like making Uncle Sam's gift, packing and changing. Left his house about 9pm.

Started off in choir room with all the warm-ups and stuff. Shan't go into details on that, quite boring lah. After that we set off to church at around 11pm. Got ready and the service started off at 11.15pm sharp. The whole service was quite short only lor, like 30 minutes? Then we had a 15 minutes break before mass. This year's Christmas felt quite different from the rest. We all weren't as high as the last time. Hmm, but I guess we all still enjoyed ourselves. Haha. After mass, we had the crazy exchange of present time. Haha. Everybody was like all over the place, looking for people to give presents. The Basses gathered at the organ there and we gave Uncle Sam his present. We also sang him a song which the lyrics were wrote by us. Haha. When we were singing, almost everyone look over lah. I think It was not bad lah, no rehearsal at all de sia. Haha.

Took photos and everything, then we went to Jeremy's house again. Same as last year. This time only got like 5 of us, including Jeremy and Jelena. Haha. Means in short, only SJB went lah. Didn't play much lah, Selene slept like quite early, at 3am I think. Then we all decided to go and sleep also. But Jason and I talked until about 5am then go sleep. What we talked about, is for us to know and you to find out. Haha.

On Christmas Day itself, we were invited to (I don't really know to spell hsi name) Arnold's house for some sort of party. We actually wanted to decline the invitation, but he was like asking us to go, so we said ok lor. Wanted to go and help sing for the 9.15am mass de lor, then stupid Jason, say don't want to go. In the end, when we met up with Laoren and Melvin at 401 for breakfast, she said only got 5 people singing. At least if we go, we could add another 20000 people mah. Haha. Went to Arnold's house around late morning, hang around for awhile, then I got to go off for a meeting at AMK Hub. Meeting was quite long also lah almost 4 hours. Then Melvin and Jason ask me go back again. I was already like damn tired lor, but still I went back. Sang karaoke for a short while, the few of us were all quite high lah. Haha. After that, went home to rest.

Friday morning, went to school for training. My first time back as a CLT. My first time wearing No. 3 also. Haha. The whole training was actually a waste of my time, don't want to say anything about it. But the bottomline is, I just wasted my time there. After that, met up with Louise at Hougang Mall before going to 401 to meet the rest. I was using the spare time to teach her some Maths, indices and surds. Like trying to test my knowledge sia, I also so long never do le. Lucky I still can remember some basics, so I still can teach her. Went to Selene's house at around 1.30pm? Played a few games there lah, monopoly, 99, bridge and many more. Haha. Quite fun, the girls were like reading some magazine and laughing so loudly. I think I shouldn't mention what they were reading. Haha. We ate dinner there, then stayed till I think 10+ then we left.

At night, actually Jason and the rest were planning where to go to celebrate for my Birthday. In the end, I got to step in to decide, cause Jason and Marilyn were like arguing online. So I made a decision to come to my house for dinner. They all said ok, so it was decided. Afew of us also planned to meet up and watch movie earlier, since some of them cannot make it. So Eunice, Louise, Daryl, Jason and I went to Vivo to watch movie. Wanted to watch Bedtime Stories, but tickets were sold out. So in the end, we caught Yes Man. The show was damn boring lah, wasted my time sia. I was like smsing people in the cinema, cause I was almost about to fall asleep. After the movie, we were on our way back to meet the rest of the people. Louise said that the show was quite boring, but I cannot understand why was she laughing during the show? Haha. Quite contridicting right? Anyways, they came to my house, played some games, listen to some music, had dinner, then went home. Thank you all for celebrating my Birthday with me this year!! Haha. Thanks a lot.

Today, had mass as usual. Didn't sound good also, everyone was like sick lah. Coughing and coughing. Laoren sayst is a after holiday sickness. Haha. As usual again, went to 401 to have our breakfast? Talked a lot of rubbish, the decided to go off. Came to my house again. Rena and Ignatius left earlier cause they got something on. Then only left with Eunice, Louise, Jason and Daryl. We were like taking turns to tell stories lah. What stories, that one I also cannot say. Haha. We made Eunice cry, this time was for real. Sorry Eunice, we were only playing with you. I very scared of girls cry de lor, then I will be like stunned and don't know what to do can. They all left after that.

Basically thats all for this week, damn long hor. First time I type such a long post can. I think whoever can complete this, is damn patient lah. Haha. I congratualate you!! 2008 is going to be over soon, hope that everyone had a good year and all the best for the coming 2009!!

Monday, the Bongs, Sharron, Ignatius, Laoren, UGLYS! and SJB went out for some sort of an outing. I was supposed to be the one planning the activities lah, but I guess again, it didn't turn out well. I always suck at planning outings, I don't know why.

Met up in the afternoon, only 10 of us. Because some of them got things on, then cannot meet us earlier lah. Had lunch in Kovan, the previous Mini Toons I think. If i'm not wrong, it is korean food? The price is quite reasonable lah, portion also not so bad. We slack donw there till about 2pm, then walked over to Superbowl to play pool.

Sneaked Brian and Lousie in, cause they were underage lah. Haha. So easy de lor, just need people to open table, then all can go in liao. LOL. We opened 2 tables lah, Jason, Teresa, Rena and me, we took one table. Then the rest of them took another. I paired up with Rena, while Jason with Teresa. Played a few rounds lah, teaching them all the basics and stuff. I think one session is not enough lor, let the 2 girls play, 10 minutes, not even 1 ball go in can. Haha. I think if play with them alone, will die. Sure pay money like crazy de, damn long lah. Haha. But I don't blame them lah, they don't play often. But neither do I. Haha.

After playing, we proceeded to Bugis to meet Laoren and the rest. Laoren and I decided to eat at Bugis lah, cause she said there got more choices. We went to a restarant called V8 i think. The food there wasn't that bad, portion was reasonable too. And the price, we paid $206 for 14 people lah, so I guess, it was also not very expensive. Cheaper than what I planned for ($20+/person). Thats why I said i'm a lousy planner.

After dinner, we went down to the fountain to sing birthday song for Anthia. Her exact day of birthday some more. Haha. Bought an ice-cream for her and we were like passing around in a circle lah, damn funny. Haha. Played 7-UP in-between also.

Then while walking back at the MRT, I started a stupid thing. Haha. When Lousie and Eunice were talking infront, I just suddenly run up in-between them and scare them. Damn fun sia. Haha. They were shocked not only once lor, Jason also played. Haha. Then Eunice laughed until she cried can. I will be planning more of this, so whoever is next, watch out. *evil grin*

56th Course Dismissed, Yes Sergeant Major!!

That was the most ENJOYED moment of the whole course. We were all jumping in joy man. Finally, 3 weeks of hardwork had paid off. The parade when through smoothly, only that some parts the band screwed us up. But other than that, I must say, everyone did a good job. Maybe there are minor mistakes here and there, but I think all these cannot be avoided de lah. Haha.

When we marched into the parade square at the start, you will really lift your head up high and march proudly man. The amount of people there was overwhelming man. There were so many families and friends cheering. Actually, when in the parade, I felt damn tired lah. Haha. Stand there like statue like that leh. All the guests took quite long to come. I tip toe like crazy already lor. I don't really believe that wiggling your toes will help. I tried for so many parades already, none of them helped. I learn from my father is to tip toe. Because the audience in front won't really notice someone moving up and down mah. The actions are quite minimal.

This course has taught me a lot of things. The time I spent with all my syndicate mates, really was very fruitful. We learn more about each other and learn to work together better. It really will help when next time we are working in the district. I cannot say I made very close friends there, but we were all still about to communicate to each other properly. LOL. It sounds abit contradicting, but yes, it is this way.

End of couse, but it is a start of a new journey for all of us. We now shoulder greater responsibilities to lead more people under us.

Day 11 of C/Offr Course :

Today was the start of the last week of the course. I didn't really feel excited, cause I knew that I have a chance of being OOC. I didn't dare to ask the question today, i think I will ask tomorrow bah.

Morning started off the same old shit again. Then we went to have lecture. Finally man, the last lecture we are going through. The next few lectures are duties that C/Offrs have to carry out and stuff, so still quite relavent. Not that the past few lectures are not, it is just that some of us find it difficult to apply it to the things that we are going through.

We ended lecture early today. Ok lah, not that early. But it was earlier than the previous times. Had our lunch, then rushed back to Blk 246 to take all our things. Went off to SAFTI after that.

When we reached SAFTI, 3 of us from each team quickly went to collect the phones that we were using ; Samsung Omnia. We had to use the GPS system of the phone to navigate and answer questions around SAFTI. It seems easy during the briefing, but when we started to run, it was really damn tiring. I was the one who was holding on to the set that sends answers and media clips. Really tiring also can. I need to send the answer, then have to take a picture of everyone for prove. The phone not say I can pass to anyone, cause you need to learn how to work the thing first.

I shall spare the details. Already quite late already and I want to sleep. In the end, we came in sort of last lah, didn't complete 1 checkpoint. We will only know the final scores tomorrow. I think my team did fairly well. Although we had some arguements in between, we still managed to clear the checkpoints together.

Day 9 of C/Offr Course :

I was totally pissed off lah. I won't respect such person who forces respect from others. I will only give respect to you for your rank, but not you as a person.

Morning fall in only, start to chnage things. Company line, what is it? I really don't know. Don't know why before we start lecture, have to go parade square march and do drills first. Make us all so tired and sweaty when we go into the theatrette. The lecturer told us that we were late too. Not that we want lor, we all fall in on time lah. Then because of all the stupid changes, drills, we were late.

After lunch, we had to play station games. I think the games were quite beneficial to a certain extent, don't know how to explain here lah. But I think I learned a lot from the lecturer and facilitators. Just that I need to think of how can I fine tune all these to suit my cadets in school.

We ended up in the theatrette after everything, quite late, I think it was already about 6pm. We still had to sit inside for a "debrief" which I thought wasted all our time. It didn't had anything to do with the course at all. Nothing. I was damn fed-up lah. No choice, cannot say anything.

Day 10 of C/Offr Course :

Today I knew we had to do the same shit again. So I just kept quiet and got ready for everything. Indeed, the same thing again. Company line and drills. I just suck everything up, take it as training. Got through the whole day.

Lectures all the way man. It was damn dry. I just couldn't absorb. During the lecture after lunch, I fell asleep during the video clip. I think the lecturer was not really happy with us also lah. Like a lot of people sleep sia. Nobody is listening at all. I also feel quite bad, really my fault lah. All lights were off, then I just dozed off like that. But after that, I got back a little energy to carry on till the end of everything.

Talked to MAJ Chua after everything. He told me that he won't allow me to join the parade and won't allow me to put on my bar until I can show a NAPHA certificate of bronze. I accept all this lah, it was my fault from the beginning. He told me that, he will consider, wheather I need to return my No.1 anot. So in short, if i'm asked to return, I cannot pass out. But if i'm told I can keep, means I will be able to join the parade. I really hope that this is the case.

Day 8 of C/Offr Course :

Had lecture again today. Whole week of lectures man. I don't think I will be blogging a lot for the coming few days. There is like nothing for me to blog about. I don't want to type out all that I have learned lah. It is going to be long man. Haha.

After lecture, there was lunch. Agian, lunch wasn't fantastic. The rice were always hard like rocks and no gravy at all. How do you expect us to eat like that? LOL. Although I complain, I still ate 2 servings. Haha.

After lunch, we slack all the way sia. We were supposed to be the syndicate doing all the shit work lah, but we all very slack de. Find all the spots that we won't be the ones that will be arrowed first. Haha. So we were quite clear of all work. Attended the COC parade. Got no choice one lah, if not I would have gone home already. LOL. The main aim to ask us to stay back and watch is because, we have to stack up the chairs after everyone left, thats all.

I know my posts are getting shorter and shorter, but I got no choice. There isn't anything for me to blog about lor. I think people would be bored reading what I have gone through during lectures. It is quite a torture sometimes. You have to sit there for hours and hours to listen to someone up on stage speaker. I tell you, really can die. Haha.

Day 7 of C/Offr Course :

Today was a boring day. Really damn boring. The whole day was lecture all the way can, nothing else. Although I like this kind of slackness lah but I feel that sitting inside the theatrette for hours and hours will kill de lor. From 8am to 12pm, then 1.30pm to 4pm.

Actually I find that the first and second lecture was somewhat inter-related lah. I don't know how to put them in words but basically, the morning lecture was on one segment of the NCC LCM. Then the second lecture after lunch was on the DISC profiling, which I think some of us when through before. I still manage to keep focus on the lectures, although I did not fully pay attention to the whole thing. Haha.

Oh, and did I mention something happened today? I think it was quite funny lah, didn't really took it as a scolding. Haha. Weird right? I think all of us felt that we were entertained instead of being scolded. LOL. I cannot mention what is it here, ask me if you want to know. :)

Tomorrow is the COC of Commandant NCC. We got to go and do all the dirty work. Damn sian lah. The other districts all got proper job to do, like ushering and stuff. But for central, we are there to do the dirty work. Those that people need help to do de, we have to do. No chioce lah, who call me to be from central. Haha.

Day 6 of C/Offr Course :

Today was quite a fun day. Had a lot of programmes on today for the whole day. Ended about 4.30pm today, the they dropped us at Boon Lay MRT and we came back ourselves. We started off the day visiting IGTS. Really advance training stimulation sia. Haha. No wonder they say Singaporean soldiers are one of the most high-tech in the world. We tried out the stimuation of the M203, GPMG and the Matador. The Matador is like super accurate lah. Confirm hit de lah, I fire like 10 shots, hit 9. Haha. With me this type of bo-bo shooter, considered not bad liao.

After that we tried the IMT for SAR21. This I was also very accurate. I scored 22/24. Haha. First time for IMT man. The last time I shoot for IMT, i scored 0/20. The m16 really cannot make it lah. Haha. The scope help a lot lor, 1.5x leh.

Waited for lunch, cause we ended at 11pm. We were all quite hungry already. Finally, it was lunch time. Yeah!! Haha. Food is confirm better than HQ lah. Today got quite a few nice dishes also. Got fish and chicken lor, usually only will have 1 choice.

Lunch time over, we visited the Commandos live firing area near the camp. Really an eye opener for all of us. We got the chance to have a live shooting of the P90. We are told that only the Special Ops are using this. Although the effictive range is shorter than the M16, but the killing power is so much higher man. It will pass through your brain even when wearing a helmet. LOL. New experience lah. Then we proceeded into the jungle area, deeper inside. They show us their TE, firing with live rounds. The feeling there was damn shiok. You get to hear and feel the impact of the weapons when fired. I got a shock when they fire the Matador, so loud can. The impact is when fired and when the missile hit the target.

The day was so hot, shooting and watching all these under the scorching hot sun.

From tomorrow onwards, I think all the way we are having lectures. I hope I can absorb all that is taught bah. I'm abit distracted now, sorry if some of the things that I tag didn't make sense. :)
