Ok, time for me to blog. Yesterday I didn't blog cause I only reached home at 9.30pm and I was already shag like crazy. Course ended at 5.30pm lah, but I went for a free Singapore Flyers ride. The truth is, I will not pay to go for this ride. It is really damn boring lah, 30 minutes going 1 round. I just go for the experience lah, at least I can tell people I go b4. LOL.

Day 5 of C/Offr Course :

It was the most tiring day of the 5 days man. In the morning, we had a briefing in the theatrette on the equipments and safety of the adventure training facilities. My first station was Paintball. Everything was fun about it, expect the gears that we put on. They stink to the core man. Don't know how many people wear before one, and all most of the are wet. Imagine, wet and it stink. Wah, really can kill man.

The second station I went to was the High Element or in short, High E. This is really to conquer my fear of hights lor. Now thinking about it, I still got the scared feeling inside me. I had to do belaying first, try out. Then it was my turn to climb. I gather up my courage and start climbing. To the top, I was really scared lah. I kept on asking the belayer to tighten my rope cause I feel like there was nothing pulling me. The bridge that I was walking on, was damn shaky lah. When I reached the centre, it was slanted to one side. And because of that, i almost fell. We were just supposed to experience the elements, so the stop point was the halfway mark. Lucky man. Haha.

One shot everything together. I went to the Flying Fox station next. That one really put me to the test lah. I saw quite a number of them before me that was stuck up there and refuse to jump. In my heart, I was think, will I be like them? Luckily, after all my harness check, I went up. The instructer there was joking around and that lightens me up. I just hooked on, sit at the edge. I was really scared at that time, didn't want to go. But I promise the instructer that I will just jump. And indeed, I just jump. My heart almost flew out can. The starting feel was like jumping off the building without anything. Then after that flying up again. Haha. It was fun lah. Actually, I don't mind trying again. Maybe next time when I come back bah.

After packing up everything for the past activities. We had to go through the Motivational Obstacle Course (MOC). I have already been through it as a cadet lah, now is to learn how to conduct it. But still, we had to try everyone of them. Most of them I had no problem clearing lah, excpet the rope thing. Asking up to climb up the rope and touch the top. That one I really got no strength to do it. I see people do like so easy but when it came to my turn, I was struggling like mad. Cleared the rest of it with ease lah, nothing much.

Finally, lunch time!! But the food suck. HQ food is always like that. The rice was like for cat to eat? So little. Then the dishes weren't very appertising also. I didn't care about it so much, just ate everything as I was damn hungry after the first half a day of activities liao.

After lunch, we moved back to our bunks to rest and carry on with our next activity. For my group, we were doing rock wall first. Basically, this was easy lah. At least, I start from the bottom which I will not be so scared. On my first attempt, i missed my step and fell. I smack my back against the wall lor. But i'm ok lah. Then I requested to try again. The second time, I cleared 3/4 of the wall, so still not bad lah. The wall is 4 storey high lah, so I managed to reach about 3 storey.

We moved on to archery after that. Didn't need much explaination lah. Most of us have done it before and for me, I have done it in HQ and also in school before. Just shoot as per normal, got a few chance to do again lah but I didn't want. Lazy to do lah, the sun was so hot some more.

Moved back to the repelling wall to do repelling. This one, I was really scared. After trying out the dry run station, I went up to the actual thing. I think I was the third person. When I was going down, I didn't even dare to look down lah. I just kept on releasing my rope and walking down. At one point, I almost let go of my hand can. While sliding, the rope cause my hand to hurt lor. But I still managed to endure all the way till the bottom. First time in my life, I completed a repelling. Great accomplishment for me. Haha.

Althought we still had one station left, that is the Low E. But dure to lack of instructers around, we cancelled it. I also don't want to do that one lah, damn boring. All the teamwork stuff to do there.

Fianlly, after the repelling, it was time to go home. We were scolded by our PC in our bunk. I think whatever he said was true. We slacked too much already. As CLTs-to-be, we should have a higher standard of things done than what we are doing now. From next week onwards, I think they will start to go down very harsh on us already. No more honeymoon week. LOL.

I will make this post as short as possible bah. It is already pass my sleeping time and i'm having adventure training tomorrow. So I need to get as much rest as possible.

Day 4 of C/Offr Course :

I-processing in HQ as usual. Then we moved out to SMTI at 7.15am sharp. The first half of the day, syndicate 1, which was my syndicate was doing the CPR course first. At first I thought the whole thing was quite easy lah, but when I was doing the theory and practical test, I failed can. LOL. I retake the 2 stupid tests. Pass in the end, but 2 trys leh!! I will not go into details lah, need to keep this as short as possible. I also heck care lah. Anyway, i'm a certified personal to give CPR!!! Haha.

Lunch time came quite fast. Just nice after we finish the course, it was time to proceed to the cookhouse. The food there is definately better than HQ NCC's food lah, but still cannot compare to the time I went for AI course. The Food at Mowbray Camp was the best I ever had man. Haha.

After lunch, we had our First Aid training. This also another slack lecture. The instructers manage to pass all the general knowledge skills to us fast and in a way where we enjoyed. I think we liked the part where we do practical on the bandage and stuff. Wrap other people in layers and layers of bandage. LOL.

Basically, that was all for today. Only the CPR course and the First Aid training. Quite fast lah, we could have ended the day at 3pm but again, we know we cannot leave at that time. So we just drag the lesson longer by talking rubbish lor. Haha.

Tomorrow is going to be a fun day for many people bah. I just feel neutral about it. We are going to go through everything the cadets go through for camp FEAST. It is going to be like MOC, paintball, flying fox, rock wall, repelling and stuff like that lah. Hopes it end early lor, I something think of doing all these also sian. Haha.

Day 3 of C/Offr Course :

Today book-in the same time as the rest of the days lah, nothing new. Take attendence and everything le, then move to the theatrette for our MOI lecture. Before that, the in-processing was quite screwed up in a way lah. I book-in the earliest, so I went up to the bunk to put my things inside first. But after we have fall-in and everything, they asked us to move our bags down to the first floor. Cause there is a PT Course and they will be using our bunks. No choice lor, just move. Make me climb up 4 floors leh.

The MOI lecture was quite short lah, basically learning the types of instucting and understanding how it works. All this, you just need to know the basics and you should be able to do it. The long part was this, the whole course had to be splitted up into 16 gourps. Each group got to come up with a topic and present it infront of everybody. That is not the scary part lor. At first, we thought it would be quite fast but in the end, we took more than 2 hours lah and it ate into our lunch time.

Today's lunch was as usual lah, catered food. The portion was also like for ants to eat? Haha. I'm sure you know what I mean.

After lunch, we went back into the theatrette again for orienteering lesson. The whole lesson was also damn short only. I think within 1 hour, the whole lesson has already been explained. But I think I learned a lot from the lesson lah, cause I wasn't really trained much in it last time. Learn all the reading of maps and stuff. Now I know, the reading of maps in SAF is not as easy as we all think. Although there are usage of some of the skills learn in Georgaphy, they go much more in depth into it. Instead of using degrees to specifiy angles, they use mils. Like damn cheem lah, I was like stunned down there lor. But I will just take this as a general knowledge lah. I don't think I will ever go for any orienteering again. LOL.

After the lesson ended, we talk rubbish as a course for damn long lor, like 1 hour. The after that, we broke into our different syndicates and talk again. Really like damn boring lah, talk for 2 hours plus before letting us go home. I actually can reach home before 4pm de lah, but drag until 5.30pm then can leave. Sian lah!!

I have already talked to Warrent Teo about my NAPHA, he says he will talk to MAJ Chua to see how. I don't know when will I know the results also.

Day 2 of C/Offr Course :

Today the in-processing was quite fast. Those who arrived first went up to put their things in the bunk and fall in already. After attendance taking, we moved to MPH to fall in. But when we reached there, they asked us to move into the theatrette. We didn't know that the half the course was already inside. LOL. We were taught the technical handling of SAR21, the parts of it and stuff.

After the lecture, we moved out to the MPH to have our hands on experience of the rifle. We did the stripping/assembling, loading/unloading and the IA drills. Actually all these already learned before le but for me, it was like almost 2 years ago? And that time was using a M16, now we are handling SAR21. The feel of the SAR21 was quite good, as in when in position. Easy aiming and everything. The stripping/assembling was also easier, but not very much lah. Haha. Basically, I learned a new thing today, about the rifle.

We had lunch after the technical handling...

After lunch was learning how to clean M16. And the stated slot was almost 4 hours. I was like crazy lah. In the end, we finished everything within 2 hours and we sitted down there to talk rubbish. LOL. Talked for almost 1 hour before Warrent Teo said, after collecting all the photo money from the respective platoon, we can leave. Really happy lah, like 4.30pm end the day? Haha.

Tomorrow we are having MOI and orienteering. Hope to learn more of all this too. It really has been a long time since I use all these skills. Haha.

Anyway, I may be kicked out of the course. Cause I didn't have my NAPHA results. I know I didn't pass my NAPHA, but if i'm really keen to serve, why can't I? I will look for Warrent Teo to talk to him tomorrow...

I will TRY to blog down my everyday from the course. It depends on if I have the strength or energy to do it.

Day 1 of C/Offr Course :

Reached HQ quite early today. I'm like the 3rd person to arrived? But it is ok lah, I rather be early than to be late and then get scolded. LOL. Didn't know where to go to at first, when to MPH then there was a sir who told me that I have to report at Blk 245. Waited there and then later was told that reported wrongly, it should be at Blk 246. Cheated me can. Haha.

After that was all the admin stuff, blah blah blah...

Today was Syndicate 1 duty to do all the shit work. So we had to go to the cook house to move tables and chairs for our course photo taking. Waited damn long can, don't know for what also. Like have to wait for the cameraman to be ready. After photo taking, we proceeded to the MPH for Commandant's opening address. Having been in NCC for so long, this is the first time that I have seen Commandant in person can. LOL. He mention that he will not be able to be with us for the whole duration of the course. Cause next Wednesday, will be the Change of Command already. The opening ceremony, we were quite privillaged lah, 2 Commandants were there. I think this is the first time, C/Offr Course is visited by 2 Commandants can. Haha.

Proceeded to the MPH for a short briefing by Warrent Teo and off to lunch. The lunch was quite standard lah, how good/bad can HQ's food be? Haha. I'm already used to it, not that it is my first time eating lor. We were told that after eating, we can go back to our bunks for our own free time. This is the first time I go for HQ course and I get free time? Haha. In the middle of the day somemore. Nevermind lah, just enjoy it. Didn't enjoy for long, then we had to go to the theatrette for lecture/talk.

Before our lecture/talk begin, Chairman NCC Council, came and speak to us. I think this is also the first time I heard of the visit of such an important person visiting the course before, except on the last graduating day itself lah. He gave a really inspiring speech, picked up a few points here and there. After that, back to our program. We had a really fun speaker, talking to us about using our mind to do stuff. I think I benefited alot from the things that were taught. I shall spare the details here, cause if I do so, it will be damn long.

We ended around 6.30pm.

Although we didn't do much, but I really am very tired. Don't know why also, I think it is because I haven't been doing such work for very long time le. Still got quite a few more days to endure. All the best to me!!

Ok, time to update abit. Yesterday, SJB, UGLYS!, Daryl and Nicole went out for an outing. This outing was planned by me lah but I felt that it wasn't really very well done. Like there are times when we just stoned at a certain venue, not knowing what to do next.

Basically, we went for mass and all the usually practice and stuff in the morning. Shan't talk more about it, wasn't very good also. After that, UGLYS! went to Lousie house to change while the rest of us when to Jason's house. Met together at Hougang Mall cause UGLYS! said they wanted to eat breakfast at Macs but in the end, we found them in KFC due to the lack of space the space the other side. Didn't ate much lah, KFC don't serve good breakfast compared with Macs. After breakfast, off to Pasir Ris!!

Talk a lot of things on our way to Pasir Ris, this I also don't want to elaborate cause there are many things that we said. LOL. Upon the arrival at Pasir Ris, I asked if they are willing to play under the hot sun (12noon), which if i'm not wrong, none of them wanted to lah. Haha. I also don't want, I will become a roasted pig before I even reach the playgound lah. So we decided to proceed to the arcade inside E!hub. We played a few games, the throw-balls-at-the-screen shooting game, we tried DDR but that was like a waste of money cause we didn't even played for 1/2 the song, we GAMEOVER le. Haha. Nevermind anyway, not our money also. I played my police that shooting game, made my thigh even more pain (due to training in the earlier part of the week), couldn't really walk properly.

Now at about 1pm, we decided to go to the park and play liao. Cause we couldn't really find anymore things to play at the arcade, like everything there is so expensive. The walk from Downtown East to the playground was insane!! It was walking from one end of Pasir Ris Park to the other end. Only Selene and Nicole went to rent bike (which inially I didn't plan for), so we had to split up. Talking while walking, singing "12 Days of Christmas" with different keys. Haha. Thats really a test of how high we can go, or not. Haha. Finally, we reached the playground but there is a bad news, the spiderweb had already been removed. So sian lor, like the purpose to go there is because of the spiderweb, then no more le. In the end, we played the spinning thing. I tell you, it was really damn dizzy. I spin like a few rounds, I felt like vomiting already. Haha. We really had a lot of fun playing that lah. And Teresa fell down while playing and she was bleeding. I felt bad lah, like didn't look after them properly.

At around 2 plus, I don't know who tell me says that going to rain already so ask us to walk back. So I just said ok, lets go. In the end, it didn't even rain at all lah. The weather was still so hot can but not as hot as we just arrived lah. We went back to Downtown East and sat in Burger King to brainstorm on where to go. After much discussion, we decided to go back to E!hub to play board games. The price was like super expensive? $3 per person per hour for just pure games. $12 per person for games plus food. We didn't go lah, waste money. So there were again suggestions thrown out, play pool, watch movie and play arcade. Pool not really feasible cause got a few of them not 16 yet and it is also very expensive, movie was also voted out cause there were limited movies and we all wanted to watch different things. Haha. So back to arcade again. Played the ball game again, basketball, hit-the-pop-up-mole game and I think the banging game (the one with the 3 buttons). This time, we won more tickets lah, 60 plus I think compare to the start which was only 20. Jason wanted to play Daytona but we just couldn't get 3 machines for Daryl, him and I to play together so another time bah. Haha.

After around 30 minutes of playing (which was kinda quite fast), we went to sit outside "Superdogs" and talk. Jason took out the curry puff that he bought at Hougang Mall in the MORNING and eat. Of cause, I also got share with him lah. Haha. How can I say no to food. Then I noticed something, everybody sit down liao but left Teresa standing up. She told us that her leg cannot bend to sit down, then I felt quite bad also, so I stand up. In the end, all stand up and Jason brought us into "Superdogs" to sit. 11 people go inside and sit but only buy 1 cup of drink. LOL. After awhile, Teresa said that she has to go home and cannot stay for dinner with us, so no choice lor, next time bah. Haha. Marilyn said she was hungry so she and Anthia went to buy food, 2 sets of "Dogs" I think. We started to play the father and mother name game again. This time, we even played grandfather and grandmother. LOL. Like damn lame can. Haha. Played till about 6pm and we left for Elias Mall for dinner.

Waited with Teresa at the bus stop for her bus then we walked to the Pasir Ris interchange to take bus. We saw a whole batch of NSF at the interchange lah, I think they gaing to Tekong or something. Haha. Told Jason that it will be his turn very soon liao. LOL. Didn't know what bus we were suppose to talk lor, call Sharron she also never answer so we just went to look at the map and find for bus. Took 88 there. The food I would say was quite nice but the portion wasn't very value for money. The food were all like I one person can eat portion lor. Pay $50 for the whole meal, split among 8 people lah so still not so bad. Couldn't stay late, cause Lousie and Marilyn got curfew by 9pm. So we left there about 8.15pm.

While walking, Jason, Daryl and I was like telling Louise and Marilyn that they will have to do psalm before they do their solo. Louise like totally freak out can and Marilyn was so calm. I doubt they will have a choice bah, Selene sure will push them for it during the next few weeks de. Jason left to take another bus cause he meeting his friend for movie. Left the 9 of us take bus 89 together. On the bus, the aircon was like so cold lah. Haha. Even i'm so fat already say cold, imagine the others. LOL. Talk a lot of crap again on the bus and still on the topic of the psalm. Reach back Hougang about 8.55pm. Had to rush Louise back home, 5 mintues before she is late. Haha. Waited for Anthia and Eunice's bus to come after that, Nicole and I walked home.

Had a really fun outing together, but I think it could be better. Next time, I promise, it will even be more fun. Haha. I think no photos taken cause nobody brought camera. I will be planning a dinner next, hope you all can make it. Haha.

That was for yesterday. Today, I drag myself to wake up at 7.30am cause going to HQ to draw uniform. My whole body is like so weak lor, so damn tired. I think was because of yesterday's fun. Haha. But it is worth it lah, to see all of us playing together.

Reach HQ almost 9am and I already saw so many people collected their uniform. I took over 1 hour to collect everything lah, under the hot sun some more, perspiring like crazy. When I collect my boots, damn lucky, I got the "GORE-TEX" one. It is the older model lah but it is definately more comfortable than the newer models. Haha. After collection, went to IMC to have my camp pass photo taken. I think it won't look nice lor, I was like perspiring already then went to ake photo. No choice lah, wait for next week to see how I look like.

Came home, after packing everything, fell dead asleep on the bed. Really damn tired. Went to my grandfather's house for dinner. Just came back home and here I am blogging. Haha.

O Levels is ending soon. Yes!! Next and last paper is tomorrow, finally man.

Time is really passing fast, too fast in fact. I remember the time when I put "13 days before the end of everything" and with a blink of an eye, it is 1 day left. I'm happy yet sad at the same time. Happy that finally everything is going to be over soon but sad that 5A1 is going to split up. We really had a lot of fun times together, making fun of teachers, playing in class, stripping in class. LOL. All these are just SOME of the things we do. Haha. I will really miss them all man, this pass 2 years of my left is going to stay in my memory forever.

I mention that time is passing fast, it really is. Class chalet is tomorrow already and on Friday, it will be our graduation dinner. Can't imagine man, with the end of the graduation dinner, I will have completed my 11 years of education in Montfort School. There are many friends which I have made, some just came and passed by but there are some who are always there for me when I needed them. This I will always cherish.

Now to NCC, just to change my abbreviation used in the previous posts, it is suppose to be C/Offr Course and not COC. Anyway, the letter has already arrived. Yes man, finally too. LOL. There will be a course briefing this saturday so I cannot go for flag day. Kitting is next week, and course will start the week after.

Everything seem to be so fast pace now. Just really want to freeze this moment and enjoy it. I doubt I will be able to get this feeling again.

First day of November. I'm going to end O Levels soon already!! Can't wait can't wait can't wait. Haha.

Ending on 11/11/08. But i'm only left with 2 papers so actually i'm already in slacking mood. LOL. Next paper is SS and i'm just intending to read through abit then go for paper liao. Science MCQ, that one no worries lah. I got 8 days of break until that 1 hour paper. I can slowly take my time to study. 4 days Physics and 4 days Chemistry, like real only. Haha. But I will definately spend time to study de lah, this is the last paper that I can count on for my Science le.

Let me speak abiut the papers this week. Actually got nothing much lah, only Physics and E Math Paper 2. Physics I can say that I did study lah but maybe not enough? The questions were all easy lor but I just cannot remember. I know I saw the thing in the textbook before but I thought it will not come out so I skipped it. In the end, It came out, shit man. So I ended up losing more 10 marks bah.

It is the same for E Math Paper 2 also. But this one, I never even put in effort to study. I also lost marks, a lot or marks in fact. I almost had not enough time can. I was left with 30 minutes for my graph question and I still had quite a few questions which I had left blank in the front. That's how slow i'm lah.

Ok, thats all for papers this week. I'm still waiting for my COC letter man, don't know when will it come. Like damn long lah, then I also don't know can get in a not. LOL. Shall have more patience and wait longer, although I had already waited for more than 2 weeks!!! Haha.
